Institute of Maritime Education & Training is a highly prestigious institute catering to the training and educational needs of the maritime industry. A young organisation, with very highly experienced mariners at its helm, they have constantly endeavour to bring quality maritime education and training programmes for the maritime industry. With years of training/education as well as maritime and management experience, their dedicated staff provide committed and quality training to maritime personnel of all ranks.
They are a world class training institute of high repute and standard, which commenced training in 2005. They started their first campus on board a training ship located in Dubai and are one of the few private institutes in the world to conduct their pre-sea training courses on board a training ship.

Currently their training campuses are located in the Middle East (onboard a training ship) and various locations in India. Besides quality trainers, all the campuses are very well equipped with air-conditioned class rooms, simulators, workshops, practical labs and student accomodations.

We provide career opportunities to young aspiring students desirous of joining sea as a profession and offer not only world class education & training but also world class certification pathways to obtain Certificates of Competency from IMO White List Countries. The institute currently runs pre-sea courses (deck and engineer officers) which are affiliated to maritime administrations and colleges of New Zealand and Australia.

Certificate of Competency programmes in partnership with New Zealand Maritime School, Manukau Institute of Technology (a tertiary education institution of New Zealand), and approved/accredited by Maritime New Zealand (a Crown Entity of New Zealand responsible for maritime certification)

• A structured 3-phase training programme leading to Certificate of Competency Class 3 (Deck) Unlimited
• Graduate Marine Engineer's programme leading to the Marine Engineer Class 3 Certificate of Competency (Motor) Unlimited 

Certificate of Competency programmes in partnership with Hunter-TAFE (a tertiary education institution of Australia) and approved/accredited by Australian Maritime Safety Authority (a Crown Entity of New Zealand responsible for maritime certification)

• A structured 3-phase training programme leading to Certificate of Competency Class 3 (Deck) Unlimited, and an Australian Diploma in Maritime Transport and Distribution
• A structured 3-phase training programme leading to the Marine Engineer Class 3 Certificate of Competency, (Motor) Unlimited, and an Australian Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Maritime Transport and Distribution
